Heal First is a therapy and counseling practice built on a simple belief: most people are more capable of change than they've been given credit for, and most of what passes for mental health advice undersells them.
We work with individuals, couples, and organizations across a range of concerns — anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment wounds, relationship difficulties, sleep issues, and more. We take special cases most others in the field hesitate with or aren't experienced in, such as populations often underserved or misunderstood: gifted and high-performing adults, formerly incarcerated individuals, men navigating identity and emotional growth, and people in the aftermath of significant life disruption.
Additionally, our mission includes – at a national and international scale --advocacy for marginalized populations; systemic change in the mental health profession; work with nonprofits to serve the at-risk and disadvantaged; work with organizational EAPs; and more.
